Conflict, Time, Photography is curated at Tate Modern by Simon Baker, Curator of Photography and International Art, with Shoair Mavlian, Assistant Curator, and Professor David Mellor, University of Sussex helpforerror.com/. It is organised by Tate Modern in association with the Museum Folkwang, Essen and the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen, Dresden, where it will tour in spring and summer 2015 respectively. The exhibition is also accompanied by a fully-illustrated catalogue from Tate Publishing and a programme of talks, events and film screenings at Tate Modern.

After the work is underway, the System Demo provides a live, interactive showcase of the integrated output from all teams. This event is like a progress check where stakeholders can see tangible results and provide real-time feedback. It’s a moment of celebration and constructive critique that keeps teams motivated and aligned with customer expectations.

Finally, an inspect and adapt (I&A) event is another way of indicating having regular in-team demos of work in progress to ensure that the quality of the work is maintained and that the deliverable will meet the company’s high standards.

Then there’s the PO Sync, where all Product Owners review priorities, fine-tune the backlog, and ensure customer needs stay front and center. This alignment prevents miscommunication and costly rework, ensuring that every team is building something that truly adds value.

A sprint is a short, time-boxed period (usually 1–4 weeks) in which a Scrum team works to complete a set of tasks and deliver a potentially shippable product increment. On the other hand, a release is a broader event involving deploying a collection of these increments to end users. While sprints focus on incremental progress within a team, releases represent the integrated output of multiple sprints, ensuring that the final product is market-ready and delivers overall value.

Imagine launching an Agile Release Train (ART) as embarking on a carefully planned journey that transforms your processes and workplace culture. It starts with the planning phase—teams from across the organization come together to define clear goals, set priorities, and develop a detailed 8- to 12-week roadmap (Program Increment) that everyone can rally around.

They are also secondary advisers to scrum masters and assist with risk management and value delivery. RTEs ensure that not only is the team identifying any issues in implementing ART practices early on, but that those risks are completely heard and addressed by leadership.

Color is another critical element of graphic design in films. Filmmakers utilize color palettes to convey emotions, create contrast, and manipulate the audience’s perception of time and space. The monochrome palette highlights the seriousness of the subject in films such as Steven Spielberg’s “Schindler’s List.”

Art imitates life in its grandest scope in this film. Synecdoche, New York follows a successful theater director who wants to stage a Broadway play by creating a life-sized replica of New York City in a warehouse. He encourages his actors to live their lives as his characters with as much authenticity as possible inside the warehouse-city.

These movies are extravagant, honest, raw, and emotional in their expression of creativity and everything that accompanies it. Watch these movies to understand how creative expression affects people, how others deal with it, and be inspired by other people’s genius.

Film students are often tasked with making degree-worthy films on shoestring (read: non-existent) budgets, but can always be depended upon to shoot for the stars — meaning they’re going to blow their entire budget on someone’s talented actor of an uncle and be unable to pay for crew.

The 1980s and 1990s brought technological advancement in design software and printing, allowing more intricate promotional visuals and branding materials. By the 2000s, with the rise of global cinema marketing and franchises (e.g., Harry Potter, The Avengers, Star Wars), the importance of unified, consistent, and bold graphic identity became even more significant.
